Laptop Backpack Review:

The laptop backpack is for the one the go and one the move business person or student. A good laptop backpack should be able to avoid the “sling factor”. You run in the coffee shop to meet a colleague barely onetime. Flop down in a seat and set you laptop backpack down Accept you didn’t exactly set it down. You kind of “slung it”. How many more of those can you laptop take? Well it is best not to sling you laptop but the right laptop back pack can minimize wear and tear. Go a head and invest in an EVA foam laptop sleeve that will clip into your backpack – just in case.  Your laptop backpack should have a well padded compartment made just for a laptop at a minimum.

Laptop backpacks can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Make sure you select one that is easy on your back and easy on your life. No reason to spend all the money you are making from that great new job on the Chiropractor. Timberland and Samsonite both offer Laptop backpacks that are ergonomically designed.

Look for laptop back packs with two main compartments for extra books papers and a few external pockets for your wallet or a wet rain jacket you would not want next to your laptop. Spend a lot of time examining the straps of a laptop backpack. The average weight of a fully load laptop backpack is 20lbs. All that is riding on those straps. Some laptop backpacks offer gel straps. Oooooh get –cushy.

Make sure there is ample space for your battery pack and all those crazy cables. I even carry a mouse because I never have like those finger pads. Naturally a mover and shaker like you self has a Blackberry, Cell phone, Ipod, Palm Pilot and a few hundred other must haves so make sure you have the room.

Last but not least do not buy a laptop backpack unless it is water resistant. Nothing is worse on a laptop than the Moisture Monster.
